Today, Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy comprises a total size of 58,000 acres and is situated 225km out of Nairobi, just north of Nanyuki in the Laikipia North District.
Acting as a private Rhino Sanctuary, Ol Jogi is surrounded by an innovative fencing system offering protection against poaching whilst facilitating extensive monitoring and security systems. In addition to our rhino, Ol Jogi has an abundance of endangered species including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, elephants, African wild dog, lion, cheetah, greater kudu and Laikipia hartebeest.
In order to allow our wildlife to freely migrate through the conservancy, sixteen game corridors operate as walkways whilst still prohibiting the movement of rhino, keeping them safe from external threats.
With an impressive Wildlife Rescue Centre and state of the art Veterinary Clinic that now services the whole of the Laikipia region, Ol Jogi is able to support the necessary needs for the rescue, recovery and rehabilitation of local wildlife when needed.
The conservancy also operates as a working cattle ranch and provides the welfare of over 300 employees and their families in housing, health, education and entertainment whilst providing additional support to its neighboring communities and development programs.
