Baobox restaurant

Games meet food. That would be the short description of what Baobox is. A group of six guys with no experience in the food industry set up Baobox, the first of its kind restaurant in Kenya, aimed at people socializing through playing board and card games. Baobox is located in wastelands on the 8th floor of Pramukh Towers, just on the outskirts of Westlands, a quieter place. The balcony has excellent views of the highrise buildings of wetlands and the surrounding area. The interior decor borrows from local tastes of Masai shukas and wooden pallets, making the space cosy with a relaxed atmosphere. When you enter the restaurant, straight ahead is a wooden rack with several games you can check out as you wait to be taken to your table.

Baobox makes for a perfect location for a group of friends or families to enjoy themselves with unlimited card games. The restaurant has hundreds of games you can pick up and switch to another when bored, making it a fun day out. This provides a good break from phones and creates a great space to socialize and have great conversations while learning how to play new games. The menu has a lot to offer, whether simple drinks to having a full dinner and platters in case you want to share and try a bit of everything.
